All Clubs & Leagues Entered into Essex FA County Cups in 2018/19

Good afternoon,

Thank you for entering one or more of our County Cups this season and may I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

As in previous seasons, we would like to invite all clubs to propose any amendments it feels should be made to County Cup rules going into next season as well as any recommendations for changes to the cup structure, such as round dates, seedings, competition pyramid.

Note that while cup rules will continue to be reviewed from those suggestions received on an annual basis, we are currently preparing to undertake a large, detailed review of the structure of all County Cups.

As part of this procedure, we are looking for nominations from clubs and leagues for Independent Members to sit on the Working Group discussions.

Should your club or league have a nomination for an Independent Member can you please respond to this email with the name and contact by 7 January 2019.

Should you have any cup rule or structure recommendations for 2019/20, can you please respond with these by 14 January – please ensure a rationale behind the proposal is included.
