Club Preparation Fund now launched
- Club Preparation Fund now launched
Morning all, - As promised, I am writing to let you know about a new funding scheme that is available to clubs in the National League System.
- The recent Pitch Preparation Fund was a huge success with 33,000 clubs benefiting and £7m being invested in preparing nearly 10,000 playing surfaces across the country.
- The Football Foundation has now launched the Club Preparation Fund, which aims to help football clubs and organisations to make their facilities a safer environment for when football restarts.Grants of £500 will be available to help clubs purchase items, such as hand sanitizer, or to carry out essential maintenance work, such as running water.
- It’s open to FA National League System Clubs, as well as grassroots football clubs and organisations, Welsh Cymru Premier League clubs and clubs in The FA Women’s pyramid that manage their own buildings will be eligible to apply for funding.
- The application window is open from today until Sunday 19 July.
- This is the link on the Football Foundation website should you want more information:
- It’s a simple process, so please apply to the Foundation directly and not through third parties.
- I know Clubs will want to utilise this alongside the Club Guidance we are producing and we are doing all we can to get this to you for when Club’s will be able to utilise this funding.
- Best wishes,
- James
