ESBFL – AMENDMENTS to CONSTITUTION – August 2022
Since the AGM, held in June 2022 there have been a number of changes to he ESBFL Constitution for Season 2022/2023
- Little Oakley FC Reserves have dropped down from the Premier Division to Division One with Harwich & Parkeston FC Reserves being elevated.
- Gas Recreation FC have withdrawn their “First” Team from the Premier Division, leaving the Division with seventeen teams. Gas Recreation FC Reserves will now compete in the KO Cup whilst Gas Recreation FC “A” will now compete in the Reserve KO Cup, Tommy Thompson Cup and COVID Cup.
- Cornard United FC U23’s (Division 3) withdrew after the AGM.
- Great Bradfords FC have withdrawn their Reserve Team from Division Four.
- Langham Lodgers FC have withdrawn from Division Four.
- A new Club, Tendring District FC have been accepted into the competition in Division Four, effectively replacing Langham Lodgers FC and will therefore compete in the KO Cup, Tommy Thompson Cup and COVID Cup.
Therefore the current, amended, Constitution will consist of 56 Member Clubs with 81 teams, will be:
Premier Division – 17 teams.,
Division 1 – 14 teams.,
Division 2 – 14 teams.,
Division 3 – 12 teams.,
Division 3 – 12 teams
Division 5 – 12 teams.
