ESBFL – CORONAVIRUS Update @ 16/03/2020

The situation regarding Coronavirus is changing on a daily basis.

The ESBL will continue to monitor and take account of government and FA advice. This currently (as at 5.15pm on Friday) says:

“We are recommending that grassroots football is able to continue as usual for now, with each league or centre making its own individual decision based on its local situation and the availability of players and officials”

The fixture programme therefore at this point in time will continue.

We will of course keep this situation under close review.

It is expected that teams will follow government advice about hand hygiene, shaking hands etc. 

The FA are issuing daily bulletins which will be sent to club secretaries and posted on the ESBL website.
