RULE 20(J) – Handbook Correction (Page 114)

Would Club Secretaries please note the correct wording of the above Rule, corrections are in red as certain parts have been omitted:

(J)           At least 15 minutes before the advertised time of kick off, representatives of both sides shall meet with the match referee and hand in the top (white) copy of the official team sheet. This will show the Club details, date, competition and team colours. It will also show the forenames and surnames and FAN / Registration Numbers, if known, of all players selected, including substitutes, against the number of the shirt they will be wearing. BLOCK CAPITALS should be used throughout. In addition, the two team representatives should exchange the third (green) copy of the team sheet.

Obviously this Rule, in its entirety, is not necessarily relevant for this season (2020/2021) however the Rule should be interpreted to ensure that the Referee and the Opposition receive sight of the Team Sheet/s, before kick-off, this can be by email, photo, text or Web-Chat.
