The Pitch Preparation Fund
To: All National League System League Secretaries
For immediate Release
Dear all,
I’m writing to let you know about a new funding scheme that is available to clubs in the National League System.
The Pitch Preparation Fund was launched today by the Premier League, The FA and the Government’s Football Foundation.
It is providing grants of up to £5,000, to help eligible football clubs and organisations ensure their pitches are match-ready for when Government advice allows football to start being played again.
FA National League System Clubs from Step 1-6 that maintain their own natural grass and third generation (3G) artificial grass pitches are eligible to apply for funding, as are grassroots football clubs and organisations, Welsh Cymru Premier League clubs, and clubs in The FA Women’s Pyramid (Tier 1-5).
The application window is open from today until Monday 25 May 2020.
This is the link on the Football Foundation website should you want more information: Pitch Preparation Fund.
Please communicate this opportunity out to your clubs.
The Football Foundation has put together a set of assets for you to use on your digital channels, a press release to go on your website, and a content plan which you can add to your social media schedule.
You can download the pack here.
If you have any questions about the press release or digital assets, please contact the Football Foundation’s communications team at communications.team@footballfoundation.org.uk.
Best wishes,
Laurence
