Whole Game Player Registration Pilot IMPORTANT INFORMATION
I am sending this email to the secretary and treasurer of each team (where these are available), you need to forward it on if it will not be you who will be responsible for the registrations.
The teams have now been matched on the Whole Game System, so all clubs in the League appear with the exception of those of you who are new to the Essex and Suffolk Border Football League. The next stage is for a data cleanse to take place which involves clubs matching players and ensuring details are correct. To help with this there will be some guidance (I am not sure whether we will circulate this or whether it will be on the whole game system) and more importantly the FA are holding Webinars on 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th July. A webinar is an online workshop/conference for you to find out about the pilot and what you are required to do. You will have to choose a date (they are usually at 7.00pm and go on for about an hour) and you will be sent a link and code to access it on line. You will also be given a telephone number and code to call in if you want to connect by phone. It is important that someone from your club joins in to one of the Webinars so you know what to do!! PLEASE MAKE THIS A PRIORITY
You will already have access to Whole Game for your club as I believe you already do your affiliations and discipline using this system. You need to look at it regularly to see if there are any messages for you!
You will be adding the players and requesting approval on line BUT you will still need to send a form to Mick (as Hon Registration Secretary) and he has to approve your request/form before the player is able to play. The player does not become eligible until either they are released and they appear on your registered players list on Whole Game or you have got the counterfoil back. The system will be going live from 11 July.
I will help wherever I can, but remember we are learning together!
Don’ t forget as well the website is also operational and being regularly updated – you can find it at https://esblfootball.com/ and the cup draws for the upcoming season are about to be posted and you can access whole game from there. Twitter and facebook also in operation keep in touch!!
Don’t forget you are required to have 15 players per team (so 30 if you have 2 teams and 45 if you have 3 teams) registered by 28 July 2016.
