WEEKLY ROUND UP       @       16/08/2025.

Tuesday evening saw Premier Division victories for AFC Pegasus Colchester, Gas Recreation, Great Bentley, Sudbury Sports and Thorpe Athletic, with Hatfield Peverel being held by newcomers, Springfield whilst on Wednesday, Cressing United defeated White Notley. Friday evening, under the lights at The Royal Oak, Division Three, Harwich & Parkeston “A” (three for Smith) defeated another new team, Wivenhoe United.

On Saturday there was still a reduced fixture programme, in the Premier Division, Earls Colne, East Thurrock Community, Great Bentley, Hatfield Peverel and Springfield all posted wins as did AFC Pegasus Colchester and Sudbury Sports who jointly top the table with three wins from three matches.

Division One had four matches, newcomers, Clacton Regent, who top the division after winning the local derby against promoted, Tavern, Great Bentley Reserves, Prettygate and Roman Rovers all won.

Bradfield Rovers, who were big winners last Saturday, lost at West Bergholt and White Notley Reserves beat Boxford Rovers as they played their first matches of the season.

Tiptree Jobserve (four for Scott) smashed a dozen goals without any response from Brooklands in Division Three, whilst Boxted Lodgers beat Roman Rovers Reserves by the odd goal in three.

Finally, Division Four had six matches, Bradfield Rovers Reserves, Hedinghams United Reserves, Tendring District (three for Willoughby-Burrell), and Wormingford Wanderers Reserves all won with Kelvedon Social sharing the points with Frinton & Walton Reserves and Tollesbury secured a point against Rayne, both matches ending at two goals apiece.

Sadly, Tendring Borough FC of Division Three have withdrawn without playing any matches, any scheduled cup matches will be awarded.
