The wet weather is still having an impact on pitch conditions with seven matches postponed

Five matches were played in the Premier Division, Tiptree Heath and Thorpe Athletic had home wins over Springfield and White Notley respectively, AFC Pegasus Colchester edged out Cressing United by a solitary goal, bottom team, Alresford Colne Rangers deservedly beat mid-table Dedham Old Boys by five goals to nil but Earls Colne hit eight at second bottom, Belle Vue Social.

Three matches survived in Division One, Prettygate (three for Falco) consolidated fourth place with a seven goals to one victory over second bottom team, Lawford Lads, Great Bentley Reserves beat Frinton & Walton by three goals to one and Hedinghams United scored the only goal away to Roman Rovers, the teams changing places in mid-table.

Two of the three schedule matches in Division Two were played, Cavendish had six different goalscorers and were the days top scorers with ten to the one in reply from White Notley Reserves whilst Springfield Reserves beat Silver End United by four goals to two.

Division Three had two matches, Mersea Island beat Elmstead Market on the road and Wivenhoe United did likewise against lowly Roman Rovers Reserves.

Three matches were played in Division Four, Kelvedon Social beat Ramsey & Mistley by two goals to one, Prettygate Reserves beat Tendring District by the odd goal in five and Rayne beat Stanway Rovers EVL Development by two goals to one.

In the Knock-Out Cup, Premier Division, Great Bentley prevailed against Division One, Clacton Regent to earn a quarter-final tie, away to Division Four, Tollesbury.

The semi-finalists for the Reserve Knock-Out Cup were completed, Hedinghams United Reserves beat Alresford Colne Rangers Reserves by a single goal to set up an away tie against Silver End United Reserves who beat Bradfield Rovers Reserves on spot kicks with the scores level at one apiece. The other semi-final will be between Great Bentley Reserves and Hatfield Peverel Reserves who beat Gas Recreation Reserves by three goals to nil.

There was one Tommy Thompson cup tie, this saw Boxted Lodgers beat Wormingford Wanderers by three goals to nil.

Tiptree Jobserve, who scored four, progressed in the Richard Degville Cup, beating Stillwaters who managed one goal in reply.
